Beyond the Bean has partnered with Kent & Fraser to offer four of the brand’s gluten-free cookies to its customers in the foodservice space.
All of Kent & Fraser’s products are made in a gluten-free certified bakery in small quantities, allowing the brand to ensure that each batch retains the signature decadent artisan quality and taste. Beyond the Bean will offer the chocolate chip, spicy ginger, lemon butter and vanilla butter crunch varieties – all free from gluten and wheat, and made using pure ingredients to create a product that can rival its wheat-based counterparts.
Their introduction follows “double digit growth since 2008” in the UK’s gluten-free market, according to Beyond the Bean, and the sector is further expected to grow by 46% by 2017.
Kent & Fraser has previously described the aim of their gluten-free cookies as being “all about natural ingredients, superb flavours and a perfect texture”.
A brand spokesperson for Beyond the Bean said: “We think that avoiding gluten shouldn’t mean avoiding great tasting food, so that’s why at Beyond the Bean we want to make sure we’re offering our customers delicious baked goods that everyone can enjoy.”
