Doves Farm has repackaged its range of free-from baking essentials for 2016, as it seeks to enhance the convenience of its product offering.
The Doves Farm Baking Essentials range will be more identifiable thanks to improved packaging and a “standout design” that combines clear messaging and ease of use for the consumer, the brand said.
The new design makes the free-from credentials of the product instantly clear on shelf thanks to its new shelf-ready packaging, and also aligns the baking requisites with the existing Doves Farm free-from flours branding. The new, robust packaging is designed to allow consumers to easily spoon out each ingredient for added convenience.
The look will be rolled out across the company’s gluten-free bicarbonate of soda, baking powder, cornflour and xanthan gum.
Meanwhile, Doves Farm has added two new premium additions to its line in gluten-free pasta. Made in Italy, the new products are a multigrain penne made with a blend of organic maize, rice, buckwheat and quinoa flour; as well as buckwheat pasta, made from organic buckwheat.
New clear and easy-to-identify packaging will improve on-shelf recognition for new and existing consumers alike. The new packaging also includes clear cooking instructions on the back of the packet. Free from gluten, milk, peanut, egg and soya, the two pasta variants are described as “a safe choice for those with gluten intolerance, coeliac disease or other food intolerances”.
There is increasing demand in the UK for allergen-free foods amid a rising prevalence of food intolerances, Doves Farm claimed.
The two new pastas have a recommended retail price of £2.99 for a 500g bag.
