Chocolate brand Elizabeth Shaw has launched a new range of flavoured chocolate segments, available in the brand’s completely new pack design.
The company is launching its new Bites range of chocolate segments topped with flavoured sprinkles, available from supermarket chain Sainsbury’s from the end of this month with a recommended retail price of £2.50. The delicate layers of chocolate will be decorated with freeze dried raspberry, caramelised almond or cocoa nib pieces.
Elizabeth Shaw will be hoping that the new range helps it to drive sales of gifting boxes of chocolates and broadens the appeal of the brand, particularly to younger consumers.
Elizabeth Shaw product manager Hayley Coggins said: “We developed this product with a younger consumer in mind; we wanted to create something new and innovative that appeals to the demographic whilst still making a product that can be enjoyed by all ages. The bite-size pieces are perfect for those who don’t want to over indulge. The launch of the new packaging designs hails a new era for the chocolate brand, as we look to widen our offering.”
