Squeeze Wheatgrass, a Northern Irish producer of healthy juice drinks, has launched a new range of flavoured products for the UK and other markets.
The fresh juice is produced in 30ml shots and is available in three different flavour combinations: beetroot, which can lower blood pressure, improve athletic performance and help with sleep, learning and memory; apple and pear, which contains fructose which metabolises slower and anti-inflammatory antioxidants; plus orange and lemon, with flavonoids that the brand claimed can help lower blood pressure and prevent disease-causing inflammation.
The flavoured wheatgrass shots, which have a shelf life of six weeks, are available to buy online from the company’s own website, as well as through a number of internet retailers.
Jacquelyn Stewart, founder and managing director of Squeeze Wheatgrass, said: “The new flavoured wheatgrass juices have been developed for people who wish the benefits of wheatgrass but do not like the grassy taste of wheatgrass. Each of the new juice flavours has been carefully selected for the ‘extra’ health benefits it will bring to the wheatgrass juice.”
