Swiss ice cream brand Mövenpick has launched a new American-style blueberry cheesecake flavour for the foodservice channel.
Available from mid-February, the new flavour is inspired by the Americana trend prevalent across the food and beverage sector. Mövenpick blueberry cheesecake is created using a creamy ice cream base, enriched with an intense blueberry ripple and delicate biscuit pieces. With ice cream now considered a dessert in its own right, especially when inclusions and ripples are combined in one product, the new Mövenpick variant is really set to appeal to consumers, the brand said.
The ice cream is available in 2.4 litre tubs, and joins the brand’s 33-strong range of ice creams and sorbets purchasable from wholesalers nationwide.
Mövenpick Ice Cream UK & Ireland business development manager Harriet Morley said: “We’re thrilled to be adding the brand new blueberry cheesecake flavour to the Mövenpick portfolio. Perfect on its own, in sundaes, or as an accompaniment to desserts, the blueberry cheesecake ice cream builds on the Americana trend, whilst still offering the great taste and quality at the heart of the Mövenpick brand.”
Mövenpick ice cream is made using naturally sourced ingredients. Each scoop is consistent in taste thanks to evenly distributed ripples, sauces and pieces, and its low melting point means it will always stand strong on the plate.
