O2 Natural Recovery has released two new flavours of its oxygenated natural recovery drink, which are now available in the US.
Both the new Lemon Lime and Blackberry Currant flavours are caffeine-free and contain 20 calories per 16oz can, and the brand says that the drinks contains 7x more oxygen than water, helping to hydrate and energise consumers without caffeine.
The drinks are both made using the same process as the two original O2 flavours which were released in 2014, which offered a drink with 2.5x the electrolytes of some sports drinks but without artificial ingredients.
Dave Colina, founder and CEO of O2 Natural Recovery said: “We were thrilled with the response to our initial flavours and how they helped athletes hydrate, perform, and recover faster.
“We launched the Caffeine-Free Lemon Lime and Blackberry Currant as a direct response to customer demand for an O2 that they could have late in the day, or for O2 drinkers looking for something to offer their kids.
“So far, the response has been incredible, and we look forward to educating more active audiences and health-conscious retailers on the benefits of our clean product.”
O2 Natural Recovery are available in the US from retailers such as Kroger and Whole Foods Market, with a suggested retail price of $12.99 for a variety four-pack, or $41.99 for a case of 12 drinks.
