At Aquatech Amsterdam 2019, Cosmetal’s Daniele Agosto spoke to Refreshment about its new Acqua Alma Point refill station, which can dispense a range of flavoured waters without the need for single-use plastics.
The refill station features a connected ecosystem which incorporates the drink dispenser, a mobile app and a ‘smart’ reusable bottle. When combined, the three solutions allow consumers to track their hydration levels, find their nearest refill station track their drinking history, redeem promotions and more.
The dispenser can provide still and sparkling waters in a variety of flavours, including rose damask, Casola lavender and peppermint, and Agosto told Refreshment that the machine could pave the way for drinks with added vitamins, minerals and potentially proteins in future.
As the refill station does not use single-use plastics and utilises refillable bottled, Agosto told that the connected solution is “an ambassador for a new way of experiencing water”, meeting consumer demands for flavoured, sustainable and personalised beverages.
