With the insertion of a Lavít capsule into a Lavít countertop water and beverage dispenser and just the touch of a button, users can enjoy a refreshing, chilled, still or sparkling beverage made with zero preservatives and ten calories or fewer.
Claiming an industry first, all Lavít beverage capsules are 100% recyclable and can be disposed of directly into recycling containers.
The Lavít system allows users to insert all-aluminium capsules to craft a variety of 12oz beverages, which include iced teas, lemonades, flavoured waters, energy drinks and sports beverages. The unit is water-source independent and can be configured to tap into and purify water from the building’s water supply or operate from 18.9 litre water cooler bottles. All Lavít beverages are zero- or low-sugar, vitamin-rich and naturally flavoured. The system debuts with 20 flavours, such as raspberry lemonade, green tea with ginseng, black cherry lime, orange mango and spicy ginger ale.
Its launch has been announced in the same week that the Keurig Kold home carbonator was made available for sale in the US, as FoodBev reported on Wednesday.
“The office services market continues to grow with new and innovative products as employers are starting to embrace more reliable, stylish, progressive options,” said Gian Matteo Lo Faro at Lavít. “Single-serve capsules are one of the fastest-growing high-margin products in today’s economy. While 90% of coffee is consumed by 11am, cold beverages are in demand all day. Lavít offers still and sparkling beverages while traditional bottled water or POU coolers do not. This dual option, delicious beverage offering, and ease of use, can multiply revenue and profit per location for dealers with a potential annual gross profit of more than $1,200 per dispenser when installed in a medium-sized office.
“Lavít at work keeps employees refreshed and well hydrated, driving improved efficiency. It also provides dealers the opportunity to offer their customers a solution that highlights their commitment to employee health and social responsibility. The office water cooler itself becomes a statement of corporate values. Beverage capsules contain one-seventh the aluminium of a 12oz can. Employees will be content they are doing their part to reduce their carbon footprint. Plus, when employees drink a Lavít beverage, they are helping to provide a clean glass of drinking water to someone in need – for every capsule purchased, Lavít commits funds to water charity partners such as Charity: Water.”

Engineered to maximise space, the capsules allow offices to stock more beverages in the same footprint, offering a greater variety to employees and optimising office break rooms. The dispenser measures 17.5in x 14in x 19in, weighs 42lbs empty and is designed with a 60,000-use requirement to meet the high demands of commercial placement. Components include anti-microbial surfaces, the innovative SIP ozone disinfection system and a large interactive touchscreen. Lavít’s patent pending system also avoids cross contamination of ingredients, so each beverage is made perfectly every time. Each innovative Lavít capsule acts as its own mixing chamber.
