Willie’s Cacao has recently launched a new range of 26g chocolate bars, all of which are made ‘bean to bar’ from the brand’s base in Devon, England.
Seven of the company’s most popular flavours, including varieties such as Milk of the Gods, Venezuelan Gold, Luscious Orange and El Blanco, are now available for impulse purchase in places like cafes and coffee bars at an RRP of £1.00.
Brand founder Willie Harcourt-Cooze said: “When people eat our chocolate, it’s like a light going on, as the chocolate melts and the realisation dawns that all this flavour comes simply from the cacao.”
Willie’s Cacao uses no soya lecithin or vanilla in its chocolate, as these hide some of the flavour notes of the beans. Similarly the brand uses only natural ingredients: raw cane sugar, unrefined cocoa butter and organic ingredients like milk, fruit essences and raisins.
