The Archer Daniels Midland Company (ADM) is an American global food processor and commodities trader. It is one of the world’s largest agricultural processors and food ingredient providers with approximately 31,000 employees in more than 170 countries.
In 1902, George A Archer and John W Daniels began a linseed crushing business. In 1923, Archer-Daniels Linseed Company acquired Midland Linseed Products Company, and the Archer Daniels Midland Company was formed. The company produces food ingredients, animal feeds and feed ingredients, biofuels and other products that manufacturers use around the world.
In October 2014, ADM acquired and integrated Germany’s Wild Flavors.
