Chiquita Brands International is a producer and distributor of bananas and other produce, under a variety of subsidiary brand names, collectively known as Chiquita. It is the successor to the United Fruit Company and is the leading distributor of bananas in the US.

On 11 March 2014, Chiquita Brands International and Fyffes unanimously approved a definitive agreement under which Chiquita will combine with Fyffes in a stock-for-stock transaction.
