Aldi has rolled out a new range of kombucha drinks under its private label, The Juice Company, as demand for gut-friendly beverages continues to grow.

The new range come in three flavours: Passionfruit, Ginger & Lemon and Wild Berry. According to Aldi, the launch follows a 35% increase in kombucha-related searches on the supermarket chain's website over the past two years.

The drinks expand Aldi’s functional product offering and arrive shortly after the retailer added a frozen kefir yogurt range, available in Chocolate, Mango & Passionfruit and Strawberry flavours.

The 330ml kombucha are currently available in stores for an RRP of £1.69.
