Functional drink brand Mitra9 has introduced two new soda-inspired flavours – Root Beer and Cream Soda – designed to offer nostalgic taste with plant-based benefits.
The drinks are formulated with mitragynine, a compound derived from kratom, and are aimed at wellness-focused consumers seeking mood, clarity, and recovery support without synthetic additives or added sugar.
The new flavours mark an expansion of Mitra9’s product range, combining traditional soft drink profiles with a functional twist. The Root Beer is described as smooth and herbal, while the Cream Soda offers a sweet, nostalgic taste with a modern finish.
“We wanted to reimagine these classics for today's consumer,” said Dallas Vasquez, CEO of Mitra9. “People crave the familiar, but they also want products that make them feel good. These deliver both.”
Both drinks are shelf-stable and packaged for convenience, with retail rollout underway this month.
