Halewood Artisanal Spirits-owned Dead Man’s Fingers has announced that it is expanding its range with the launch of a new Vanilla Rum variant. According to the brand, the 35% ABV Vanilla Rum gives notes of smooth and sweet vanilla, paired with rich butterscotch. In a first for the brand, the new spirit is presented in a clear bottle, enabling the colour of the golden rum to show through. Rachel Adams, global marketing director at Halewood Artisanal Spirits, said: “Vanilla is a deliciously indulgent flavour that of course has strong associations with rum. We really wanted to dial that up for our newest launch, creating a really luxurious tasting liquid which pairs perfectly with cola and mixes well into cocktails.” She continued: “We’re also excited to unveil the new clear bottle design, which not only guarantees strong stand out on shelf, but is also made using increased volumes of recycled glass”. Last year, Dead Man’s Fingers launched a new coffee tequila liqueur and ready-to-drink margarita cans, as well as Raspberry Rum Cream Liqueur. The brand also entered the low-and-no category with the introduction of its 0.0 Spiced Rum. The new rum is launching into Asda stores this month for an RRP of £28, with further rollout later in the year.
