US-based Duravant – a manufacturer of engineered equipment and automation solutions for the food processing, packaging and material handling sectors – has completed its acquisition of Ferdinand Henneken, a German company specialising in protein processing solutions. With the acquisition, Duravant outlines its commitment to expanding its presence in the protein sector, aiming to meet the evolving needs of food and beverage manufacturers. Headquartered in Bad Wünnenberg, Germany, Henneken's portfolio includes an innovative range of equipment, including vacuum tumblers, tenderizers, injectors and brine mixers, designed to enhance product quality and yield for meat, poultry and seafood processors.
