Sustainable packaging manufacturer, Eviosys, has opened a research and development (R&D) centre in Wantage, UK. The new R&D centre is a state-of-the-art materials and component testing laboratory, which Eviosys says underscores its commitment to scientific expertise in the metal packaging industry. The facility will play a pivotal role in preserving product quality. Eviosys notes that the R&D centre features a dedicated food processing area and a pilot manufacturing facility that will enable Eviosys to create products and solutions that solve consumer issues while shortening the time it takes for those products to go to market. David Hall, R&D director for Eviosys, said: "We are thrilled to open the doors to our R&D Centre in Wantage. This facility represents our commitment to driving sustainable packaging innovation and delivering exceptional products to our customers. Eviosys is determined to lead the way in shaping the future of packaging and this centre is the embodiment of our dedication to that goal." Eviosys’ portfolio of products is aimed at reducing plastic consumption, such as Horizon, lightweight metal packaging with Ecopeel and advanced technologies that promote packaging inclusivity through innovative designs like Orbit.
