Components manufacturer Norelem has developed a new range of linear roller guides designed to provide smooth, low-friction movement for packaging, food processing and transportation industries.
Expanding its product portfolio, Norelem has introduced four specialised linear roller guide systems to cater to the varying requirements of modern industrial applications.
"Our expanded range of linear roller guides is engineered to meet the rigorous demands of today's industries," said Marcus Schneck, CEO of Norelem. "Whether in packaging, food processing or transport, these guides offer unparalleled precision, reliability and ease of use, showcasing our commitment to providing solutions that enhance operational efficiency and longevity."
The new line-up includes straight linear guide rails (21355) available in standard lengths of 500, 1,000 and 2,000mm, with the option to extend up to 4,000mm.
These rails emphasise simplicity and reliability in linear motion, with versatile top-mounting options and compatibility with Norelem's roller guide carriages.
For applications where straight-line movement is not feasible, the company has also developed curved linear guide rails (21356) that offer flexibility to navigate pre-defined curves and optimise space in constrained environments.
These components support complex motion profiles essential for precision applications like CNC machining and 3D printing.
Complementing the linear guide rails, the company's roller carriages provide a range of tolerance options to cater to diverse industry needs.
The roller carriage for straight linear guide rails (21350) compensates for deviations of approximately 0.05 mm, ideal for maintaining hygiene and safety standards, while the roller carriage for linear guide rails (21351) extends versatility with a tolerance range of about 0.5 mm, suitable for packaging applications requiring both straight and curved rail journeys.
Featuring a maximum acceleration of 50 m/s² and a traverse speed of up to 5 m/s, the new carriages boast a one-sided preload mechanism that adapts to rail contours, ensuring consistent sliding resistance, reduced wear and simplified installation.
Schneck added: "Linear guides are crucial for smooth, low-friction movement in our target industries. Our new range of roller guides is designed to deliver uncompromising performance, reliability and adaptability, enabling our customers to optimise their production processes and enhance operational efficiency."
