Blue Diamond Growers, a player in the almond processing industry, has unveiled its latest seasonal offering, Frosted Brownie Almonds, as part of its holiday product line-up.
This new flavour, developed after extensive market research and flavour testing, aims to cater to consumer preferences for festive snacks during the holiday season.
The introduction of Frosted Brownie Almonds follows the company’s strategy of experimenting with various flavours to align with consumer cravings, particularly during the holidays.
Maya Erwin, vice president of marketing and innovation at Blue Diamond, said: “We created Frosted Brownie to lean into this seasonal flavour, allowing snackers to enjoy the rich and creamy indulgence of a brownie, all with the crunch and goodness of an almond”.
This year marks the third consecutive holiday season for Blue Diamond to launch limited-edition flavours, building on the success of previous offerings.
The return of Snickerdoodle Almonds, which has gained popularity over the past two years, reflects the strong consumer demand for seasonal flavours. The Snickerdoodle variant features a cinnamon sugar cookie taste that has resonated well with customers.
Blue Diamond's product range includes over 20 unique flavours such as Ranch, Thin Dipped and Chilé ‘N Lime. The introduction of Frosted Brownie Almonds is part of the company’s broader strategy to expand its product portfolio in response to consumer trends.
