Castello expands product line with launch of whipped cheese dips

Arla Foods-owned cheese brand Castello has expanded its portfolio with the launch of whipped cheese dips.

Made from Danish cheese and select herbs and spices, the dips are available in three flavours: Garlic & Herb, featuring garlic with parsley and basil; Cracked Pepper, highlighting cracked peppercorns; and Paprika & Chili, infused with paprika and a hint of chilli.

Castello Whipped Dips contain no stabilisers, gums, preservatives or artificial flavours.

Kevin Rider, brand manager at Arla, said: "As spreads, dips and more specifically whipped cheese dishes gain popularity, especially on social media, Castello is at the forefront of this trend with the introduction of this imported, restaurant-quality whipped dip that doesn't compromise on quality or taste".

"Compared to many cheese-based dips on the market, Castello Whipped Dips offer optimal dipping moments with crackers, chips and crudité thanks to their fluffy texture; we developed Castello Whipped Dips with home cooking and simple recipe integrations in mind knowing how valuable this versatility component is for consumers."

The whipped dips are available in 5.3oz resealable containers, priced at $3.99. They can be found at retailers including Sprouts and Winco, with nationwide availability expected throughout 2024.
