Crosta & Mollica has expanded its range of Italian grocery products within the frozen dessert and pizza categories with two new products. The modern Italian food brand’s products are exclusively made in Italy using specially selected ingredients and traditional recipes. Crosta & Mollica made its first launch into UK retail with its frozen and chilled and sourdough pizzas, before entering the frozen dessert category in June 2022 with its Italian gelato range. The first new product, Mascarpone Stracciatella Gelato, adds to this popular line. Made with fresh mascarpone and Italian whole milk, the new gelato is slow whipped for a light, smooth texture and contains dark chocolate flakes throughout. Crosta & Mollica also launched a new product into the chilled aisle. The new Roast Garlic & Mozzarella Pizza Bread features the brand’s classic wood-fired sourdough pizza base, topped with shaved mozzarella, a rich cream sauce, flakes of roast garlic and fresh chives. The new Roast Garlic & Mozzarella Pizza Bread is available to purchase in select UK retailers now, with the new Mascarpone Stracciatella Gelato becoming available from June.
