The new Nuii peanut butter and Canadian maple syrup flavour features maple syrup collected from Canadian maple trees, swirled into peanut butter ice cream. It is then coated with a thick milk chocolate shell, made from sustainably sourced cocoa and topped with roasted peanut pieces.
Henry Craven, brand manager for Nuii, commented: “Indulgence remains a key growth trend in ice cream, consumers are treating themselves more frequently and looking for even more indulgent products, with Nuii playing a leading role...we’ve carefully chosen the ingredients to deliver a new and exciting combination in ice cream, it’s the ultimate taste adventure.”
According to the company, the launch follows a strong year for Nuii, with a 23% growth, which exceeds the total chocolate sticks sector growth by 18.7 percentage points.
The new flavour will be available at Asda and Morrisons stores starting this month, with wider availability at major retailers to follow.
