Häagen-Dazs has added two new ice cream flavours to its portfolio: New York strawberry cheesecake and vanilla caramel pecan. The New York strawberry cheesecake flavour features a blend of creamy cheesecake ice cream swirled with sweet strawberry sauce and spiced graham cracker crust crumbles. It balances sweetness, tartness and smoothness, inspired by the New York-style cheesecake.

Meanwhile, the vanilla caramel pecan flavour combines creamy vanilla ice cream paired with caramel sauce and caramelised toasted pecans. Rachel Jaiven, head of Häagen-Dazs' marketing, said: "Our two new, original ice cream flavours, New York strawberry cheesecake and vanilla caramel pecan, are certain to become consumer favourites in our national portfolio. The New York strawberry cheesecake flavour is a special new flavour; we like to think of it like a love letter to our home city of New York." The flavours are available at select locations for $6.49 per 14oz pint, with nationwide availability anticipated by April.
