Morinaga-owned confectionery brand Hi-Chew has added new dessert-inspired sweets to its portfolio, called Hi-Chew Dessert Mix. Available in strawberry ice cream, key lime pie and candy apple flavours, Hi-Chew Dessert Mix contains no artificial colours and is gluten-free. Teruhiro Kawabe, president and CEO of Morinaga America, said: "Through our Chew Crew, we've learned that consumers want more unique flavour offerings that are unlike anything they've experienced before. The unveiling of these exciting three flavours follows the tremendous success of the Hi-Chew Fantasy Mix in 2022, which satisfies consumers' desire for more non-traditional chewy candy flavours." Hi-Chew Dessert Mix comes in peg bags, exclusive to select 7-Eleven and Speedway stores nationwide, and stand-up pouches, which are available at retailers nationwide.
