Hooters enters retail market with frozen appetisers

Hooters enters retail market with frozen appetisers

American restaurant chain Hooters has launched its first line of frozen appetisers, available at Publix supermarkets nationwide.

These four products are said to 'bring the iconic taste Hooters homes,' stated Hooters.

The company has introduced a variety of licensed wing and boneless chicken options, featuring its signature breading and sauces. The line-up includes BBQ-smoked wings (smoked chicken wings in a rich BBQ sauce), Dry-Rub-Smoked Wings (smoked chicken wings seasoned with a bold Texas-style BBQ rub), Buffalo-style boneless Wingz (breaded chicken in a tangy buffalo-style sauce) and Buffalo-Style Popcorn Chicken (breaded chicken bites in a tangy buffalo-style sauce).

Hooters of America's CMO, Bruce Skala, said: “Whether it’s an easy meal at home, or planning food on the go, consumers now have another way to enjoy the world-famous taste of Hooters, with these new frozen appetisers and snacks."

These products are being launched by Hooters’ licensed food partner, Golden West Food Group, and are now available in the frozen food section of Publix.

More retail chains are expected to start offering Hooters’ frozen appetizers and snacks later this year. By the end of 2024, a total of eight branded licensed products are anticipated to be available.
