Pernod Ricard-owned coffee liqueur brand, Kahlúa, has entered into the cream liqueur category with the limited-edition launch of Kahlúa Chocolate Sips.
Available in two flavours - Smooth Chocolate and White Chocolate - Kahlúa Chocolate Sips has an ABV of 16%. Smooth Chocolate combines Kahlúa Rum & Coffee Liqueur with real cocoa for a rich chocolate taste, while White Chocolate mixes Kahlúa with real cream for a creamy drink with a hint of coffee.
In addition, Kahlúa is partnering with Whipshots, the vodka-infused whipped cream brand co-founded by American rapper Cardi B, to enhance the launch of Chocolate Sips.
David Dreyer, CMO of Starco Brands, the parent company of Whipshots, said: “We are incredibly proud to be partnering with Kahlúa on the launch of Chocolate Sips. The two brands pair perfectly together this holiday season.”
Saragh Killeen, Kahlúa's brand director, added: “This first-of-its-kind offering from Kahlúa is designed to encourage consumers to 'Stir Up' their typical cocktail experience and savour the moment. Kahlúa Chocolate Sips bring a new level of 'deliciously easy' convenience to chocolate lovers, ensuring a premium quality experience that is both exceptional and indulgent.”
Kahlúa Chocolate Sips is available at retailers nationwide for an SRP of $24.99 per 750ml bottle.
