Stella Rosa debuts chocolate hazelnut cream liqueur

Stella Rosa debuts chocolate hazelnut cream liqueur

US-based Italian wine and spirits brand, Stella Rosa, has debuted a new chocolate hazelnut cream liqueur in time for the festive season.

The new offering aims to bring Stella Rosa’s ‘signature flair’ to the cream liqueurs category, creating a versatile option for cocktails, after-dinner treats and anytime indulgence.

Created in small batches made with a specialised Italian production process to achieve pure flavours, the liqueur is made with real hazelnuts from Piedmont, Northwest Italy – a region known for its hazelnut, wine and chocolate production. It is suitable for serving chilled, with ice or in cocktails and coffee.

Stella Rosa’s latest launch follows research that shows chocolate is the top flavour choice among cream liqueur consumers, according to Datassential Sip 2023: Cordial Liqueur Report, winning over 57% of consumers ahead of other popular flavours like fruits, citrus and cinnamon.

Steve Riboli, president and CEO of Stella Rosa’s parent company Riboli Family Wines, said: “On the heels of Stella Rosa's 21st birthday, we are proud to build upon our legacy in crafting innovative, yet timeless, flavours. There is an irresistible sense of luxury associated with cream liqueur, and Stella Rosa's authenticity centered around Italian ingredients creates an elevated, velvety experience.”

He added: “Perfect for the holiday season, Valentine's Day and beyond, our new chocolate hazelnut cream liqueur is truly dessert in a bottle that takes our existing spirits portfolio to new heights”.
