Lucky Saint launches new alcohol-free Lemon Lager

Lucky Saint launches new alcohol-free Lemon Lager

Lucky Saint, a UK-based alcohol-free beer brand, has announced the launch of its new alcohol-free Superior Lemon Lager product.

Commenting on the launch, Luke Boase, founder of Lucky Saint said: “It’s been 100 years since Bavarian innkeeper Franz Xaver Kugler mixed lemonade with lager, calling it Radlermass (‘cyclist’s litre’), ensuring all the cyclists in his beer garden had enough to drink. Since 1922, radler, or shandy as it’s become known in the UK, has been providing an alternative to lager and soft drinks on those occasions that call for pure refreshment."

He explained that the new product aims to deliver a "modern twist" on the classic beverage while being completley alcohol-free and containing just 1.5g of sugar per 100ml. At 80 calories per can, the drink aims to offer a healthier alternative to traditional soft drinks and non-alcoholic beverages.

Lucky Saint’s Lemon Lager will join its existing line-up of alcohol-free unfiltered lager and Hazy IPA. It is available now online from Lucky Saint directly, as well as nationwide across the UK in Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Waitrose, Morrisons and Ocado.
