Napolina launches two new pasta shapes

Princes Group-owned Italian food brand Napolina has launched two new pasta shapes: Orzo and Macaroni.

According to the company, the launch coincides with a 38% increase in Orzo sales from last year, making Napolina as the first household brand to introduce this specific pasta shape.

Jeremy Gibson, marketing director at Napolina, said: “At Napolina, we’re always keeping a close eye on the market to see what consumers are enjoying, and we spotted a gap in the pasta market for Italian food lovers, particularly Orzo fans".

“We’re proud to have created two new pasta products to add to our extensive range of authentic Italian ingredients, offering customers high-quality ingredients for great value. The two new additions are perfect for all year round, from Mediterranean summer dishes and al fresco dining to soups and risotto-style for the cooler months.”

The two new products – Napolina Orzo and Napolina Macaroni – will be available throughout the summer across major UK retailers, including Tesco, Morrisons, Sainsbury's and Ocado, for an RRP of £1.50.
