Nestlé Toll House launches new dessert concept, cookie nachos

Nestlé Toll House has unveiled a new dessert concept: Cookie Nachos.


The innovative product aims to combine the familiar comforts of cookies with the fun of nachos, catering to consumers looking for shareable, customisable treats.


Launched in as partnership with former NFL quarterback Peyton Manning. The Cookie Nachos kit includes Nestlé Toll House chocolate chip cookie dough, various morsels and cookie cutters shaped like nacho chips, allowing consumers to create their own dessert variations.


Consumers can customise their creations with limitless possibilities, such as 'sour cream' dollops made with Nestlé Toll House Premier White morsels, semi-sweet chocolate morsel 'black beans,' and maraschino cherry 'tomatoes'.


The product is inspired by the growing trend on social media, particularly a surge of over 3.7 million #CookieNacho posts on TikTok, indicating a rising consumer interest in creative food mashups.


The launch of Cookie Nachos is strategically timed to coincide with the holiday and football seasons, aiming to attract consumers looking for festive and interactive dessert options.


Melanie Knoke, senior marketing manager of Nestlé Toll House, said: "Connecting people over a shared plate of warm, freshly baked cookies has always been at the heart of our business".


Nestlé USA, part of the global Nestlé conglomerate, continues to innovate within its extensive portfolio, which includes other well-known brands such as DiGiorno and Coffee mate.


As the dessert landscape becomes increasingly competitive, Nestlé Toll House's Cookie Nachos may appeal to families and social gatherings looking for novel and enjoyable culinary experiences.
