Regal Rexnord has launched the KleanTop PacTitan Pro metal conveyor belt, designed specifically for food processing applications. This new conveyor belt features a 5/8-inch pitch design aimed at extending service life and reducing maintenance needs.
The PacTitan Pro is intended for various food processing tasks, including battering, breading, glazing, drying and frying. Its design addresses challenges such as small product handling and tight transfers, which are common in the industry.

Key features of the PacTitan Pro include:
Extended service life: The belt is constructed with dedicated sprocket lanes to minimise bending and distortion, reportedly allowing it to last up to six times longer than conventional metal belts.
Increased efficiency: The belt's 75% open area enhances airflow, which may improve heat transfer in cooling lines for baking applications.
Simplified maintenance: Installation and maintenance processes are designed to be straightforward, requiring minimal tools for splicing.
Operator safety: The belt incorporates interlocking edges to reduce the risk of snagging, which may enhance safety for operators in close proximity.
A case study from a poultry processing facility indicated that the PacTitan Pro outperformed a competitor's standard metal belt, lasting significantly longer under harsh conditions.
Regal Rexnord states that the belt is customisable, with various widths and opening sizes available to meet specific operational requirements in food processing.
