On 21 September, fragments from a Russian missile struck the territory of PepsiCo's plant and warehouses in Vyshneve, Kyiv Oblast, Ukraine.
As a consequence of the fire ignited by the missile strike, both the dairy warehouse and the production facilities suffered partial destruction, according to Forbes. Other news outlets reported that workers at the facility sustained injuries, and industrial facilities were damaged.
Currently, there have been no reports of casualties.
The Ukrainian Ministry of Defense stated on X (formerly Twitter), that PepsiCo paid for the missile that caused damage to its facilities through transactions with Russia:

The list shows that despite claims of scaling down operations, discontinuing advertising activities and halting production in the region, PepsiCo continues to work in Russia, paying taxes and supporting the country's economy.
