Sports nutrition firm KBF Enterprises secures funding, unveils new products

British sports nutrition company KBF Enterprises has secured a funding package, including invoice finance stock funding and a term loan.

KBF Enterprises, which is behind sports nutrition brand Warrior, will use the 'multimillion pound' funding package to continue its growth trajectory both in the UK and overseas. It partnered with merchant banking group Close Brothers to secure the funding.

Kieran Fisher, founder of KBF Enterprises and Warrior comments: “This investment will have a real impact on our operation, enabling us to grow the business further, staying at the forefront of new trends and innovations to develop nutritious, great tasting and affordable products to appeal to health-conscious consumers around the world”.

Bradley Hargreaves, business development director at Close Brothers Invoice Finance, commented: “The team at KBF have developed a market-leading brand and their growth in the last four years is fantastic. We’re delighted to provide a funding facility at this exciting time for the business, to support the next phase of growth. Fisher has a clear strategy for KBF, which we’re thrilled to be a part of.”

Debt Advisory partner for Cowgills, Benjamin Day, added: “We’ve worked with KBF Enterprises for close to ten years, and we’ve seen the business really take on the market. This funding, which will see them increase facilities and turbo charge their growth, is just the next step in what I’m certain will be a long-lasting journey for them.”

New protein bars

Under its sports supplement brand Warrior, KBF Enterprises has introduced two new Crunch protein bars. The low-sugar high-protein bars are now available in Maple Syrup and Chocolate Orange varieties.

Both bars contain more than 20g of quality whey protein, less than 3g of sugar and are multi-layered with various crispy fillings and wrapped in chocolate.

Earlier this year, Warrior launched a new White Chocolate Blondie protein bar, as well as a new low-calorie, high-protein water with essential vitamins and electrolytes to boost hydration and 10g of collagen peptides to nourish skin, hair and nails.

The new Warrior bars are available in major UK retailers now for an RRP of £1.49.
