Wells and Ferrero put ice cream twist on popular chocolate bars

Wells and Ferrero put ice cream twist on popular chocolate bars

Wells Enterprises and Ferrero North America have partnered to launch a new range of ice cream candy bars, featuring three confectionery brands: Butterfinger, Baby Ruth and 100 Grand.

The new products combine the flavours and textures of the original chocolate bars with real ice cream.

The Butterfinger ice cream bar features Butterfinger-flavoured ice cream with a crunchy Butterfinger layer, coated in a chocolatey shell. The Baby Ruth ice cream bar consists of nougat-flavoured ice cream with roasted peanuts and caramel, covered in a chocolatey coating.

Meanwhile, the 100 Grand ice cream bar includes caramel-flavoured ice cream layered with rich caramel and encased in a chocolate shell with crispy pieces.

Isabella Chia, chief marketing officer at Wells, said: "We have the opportunity to bring these iconic candy bars to consumers in a new format and know that our indulgent flavours and signature textures will allow them to truly treat themselves. These new ice cream candy bars are the perfect option for candy and ice cream enthusiasts alike."

The new ice cream bars are available in the frozen treat section of retailers across the US, sold in packs of six with an SRP of $5.99.
