Mondelēz International-owned brand Cadbury has unveiled a new range of lower calories nougat bars coated in Cadbury chocolate. Containing only 91 calories, Cadbury Delights features a soft nougat filling and caramel layer inside. The range comprises three flavours: salted caramel, orange and caramel, and hazelnut and caramel. Abi Eayrs, brand manager for Cadbury Delights at Mondelēz International, said: “This launch is particularly exciting for the Cadbury brand, as it’s an important part of our mission to offer consumers the right snack for the right moment". She continued: "Consumers are increasingly looking for lower calorie snacks where they don’t have to compromise on taste or satisfaction, with the lower calorie chocolate category growing by over 21% annually. We believe our new range of Cadbury Delights presents a huge opportunity for retailers and wholesalers to drive incremental sales.” Cadbury Delights will be available from next month for an RRP of £1.99.
