Candy Can launches limited-edition Banana Candy flavour

Candy Can launches limited-edition Banana Candy flavour

Zero-sugar soft drink brand Candy Can has unveiled a new limited-edition flavour, Banana Candy, inspired by Illumination's latest movie release, Despicable Me 4.

This launch underscores Candy Can's aim to deliver nostalgic flavour experiences while catering to health-conscious consumers.

Founded by Dutch entrepreneur Sander de Jonge, Candy Can has gained popularity in the Canadian market for its unique range of sugar-free beverages that replicate the flavours of well-known candies.

The brand's portfolio includes flavours such as Birthday Cake, Bubble Gum and Sour Apple, positioning it as a leader in the candy-inspired beverage segment.

The Banana Candy flavour is a sparkling beverage that captures the essence of creamy banana candy. According to de Jonge, the inspiration for this flavour draws from the Minions' iconic love for bananas and their vibrant yellow colour.

"We knew that Banana Candy is also a nostalgic candy flavour and thought what better way to bring it to life in a zero-sugar, drinkable format," he said.

All Candy Can products are crafted with high-quality ingredients and packaged in 100% recyclable materials. The beverages are vegan, keto-friendly, gluten-free and caffeine-free.

The limited-edition Banana Candy flavour will be distributed by Unique Foods (Canada) and will be available at select retailers across Canada, including Circle K and Sobeys, starting in August 2024.
