Coca-Cola Europacific Partners (CCEP) has expanded its offering under its Powerade brand with the introduction of a new Golden Mango-flavoured beverage.
The new isotonic sports drink provides consumers with a tropical flavour profile. Like the rest of the Powerade range, it contains vitamin B6, which could reduce tiredness and fatigue.
Rob Yeomans, vice president of commercial development at Coca-Cola Europacific Partners GB, said: “Powerade has huge potential, particularly with active lifestyles high on many consumers’ agendas and the sports sub-category doing so well within wider soft drinks. We hope that the new look and innovation will really excite our consumers and we look forward to seeing how retailers get behind the brand in store.”
In a similar move, CCEP expanded its Relentless energy drink portfolio in April, with the addition of Fruit Punch, a new tropical-flavoured beverage.
The new Golden Mango Powerade comes in 500ml bottles and is available to purchase in UK retailers now.
