Celebrity chef Joe Sasto, known for his appearances on Bravo’s Top Chef and The Food Network, has launched Tantos, the 'world’s first' puffed pasta chip infused with classic Italian-American flavours.

The product is set to elevate snacking by offering a convenient, on-the-go option that merges the beloved taste of pasta with the crunch of a chip.

Tantos is available in four flavours: Marinara, Cacio e Pepe, Pesto and Classico, each designed to deliver a burst of savoury seasoning in every bite.

“When I first created Tantos, it was a bit of a happy accident," said Sasto. "I've spent several years perfecting each flavourful recipe to represent the classic pasta dishes my mother taught me how to make, just in a new and modern way.”

The name 'Tantos' is derived from the Italian expression 'Tantos Si,' meaning “so much yes,” reflecting the brand's ethos of indulgence and positivity.

Designed for various occasions – from school lunches to game nights – Tantos aims to redefine everyday snacking experiences.

Made from flour and water, fried in oil and seasoned with Italian spices, Tantos distinguishes itself by honouring traditional pasta ingredients, unlike some competitors that use wheat flour alternatives.

“We’re excited to revolutionise the snack industry with our original pasta chip,” said Sean Knecht, CEO of Tantos. “Tantos is made for the culinary curious consumer who appreciates pairing high-brow tastes with low-brow moments. It offers a piece of affordable luxury meant for life’s everyday occasions.”

Tantos is priced at $2.99 for a 1oz bag and $6.99 for a 4oz bag, making it accessible for both individual consumers and sharing. The product is available nationwide through the Tantos website, Amazon and select grocery stores.
