US dairy company Clover Sonoma has announced the appointment of John Coletta as its new CEO, effective 1 July 2024. Coletta succeeds Ken Gott, who is retiring after a decade of service to the company, having spent nearly ten years at the helm. Coletta brings 35 years of experience in the consumer packaged goods, food service and beverage industries, having held senior leadership positions at well-known brands such as Peet's Coffee, Einstein Noah Restaurant Group and Quiznos. As CEO, Coletta will focus on expanding Clover's presence and ensuring that every Californian has access to its premium dairy products. He will also continue to support the company's commitment to conscious dairy production and its role in local communities. Clover Sonoma's chairman of the board, Marcus Benedetti, said: “John is a transformative leader with a passion for people, community and innovation. His strategic vision and focus on progress make him the ideal person to lead us to new heights. I am confident our employees, network of local family farm partners and beloved Clover brand will thrive under his leadership.”
