Corn Nuts launches new ‘Partially Popped’ range in US

Corn Nuts launches new ‘Partially Popped’ range in US

Hormel Foods-owned brand Corn Nuts is expanding its product range with the launch of a new line of 'Partially Popped' corn kernel snacks, the brand’s first departure from its signature fully-crunched corn kernels.

The new range combines the lighter texture of popcorn with the familiar crunch associated with the Corn Nuts brand.

The line debuts with three flavours: White Cheddar, Movie Theater Butter and Kickin’ Cheddar — the latter adding a spicy element to the range.

Tim Bortner, brand manager for the Corn Nuts brand, said: "The Corn Nuts brand has always been about big crunch and even bigger flavour, and now, with our new Partially Popped options, we're bringing fans a whole new way to snack. These snacks are perfect for road trips, backyard barbeques, solo snacking or gameday gatherings."

This release comes as manufacturers look to appeal to consumers seeking on-the-go snacks that deliver on both taste and texture.

The product is currently rolling out as a limited launch at select 7-Eleven, Speedway and Circle K stores, with a suggested retail price of $1.99 to $2.49 for a 3oz bag.
