Farmstead Manufacturing has opened a new production warehouse in Leeds, Utah, US, to support the growing demand for its baked goods.
This move follows the success of its flagship Farmstead Bakery in downtown St. George and the recent opening of a second location in Springdale, near Zion National Park. A third bakery is scheduled to open in Hurricane this autumn.
The expansion was supported by a $2.25 million investment from Advantage Capital through the Utah Rural Jobs Act and a Utah state business grant. Farmstead Manufacturing is part of the See the Space Restaurant Group, which also operates FS Coffee Company and The Local bar in Henderson, Nevada.
The Leeds facility will serve as the main production hub for Farmstead Bakery and will create 20 full-time jobs at the warehouse, with an additional 45 positions expected across the company.
Chris Connors, co-owner of Farmstead Bakery, said: "We are thrilled to open our new production warehouse in Leeds and expand the Farmstead Bakery brand. This new facility will not only allow us to increase our production capacity but also create new job opportunities for the local community."
