Ferrero Rocher launches Dark Hazelnut and Crunchy Salted Caramel chocolate bar

Ferrero Rocher launches Dark Hazelnut and Crunchy Salted Caramel chocolate bar

Ferrero North America has unveiled its latest chocolate bar flavour, Dark Hazelnut and Crunchy Salted Caramel, just in time for autumn.

The bar combines dark chocolate (with 55% cocoa) with crunchy hazelnut pieces and salted caramel.

This blend aims to provide a balance of sweetness from the caramel and a slight bitterness from the dark chocolate, complemented by the nutty flavour of the hazelnuts.

Made with carefully sourced ingredients, the bar emphasises quality and contains no artificial preservatives or colours.

The company is collaborating with book tracking platform The StoryGraph to promote a month-long reading challenge, titled 'Reading is a Treat,' designed to encourage consumer engagement through the intersection of literature and indulgence.

This new offering is positioned as a luxurious treat, appealing to both chocolate lovers and book enthusiasts alike.

"Ferrero Rocher has always celebrated moments of indulgence, whether through shared experiences or personal enjoyment," said Robert Hoover, vice president of marketing for Ferrero Premium Chocolate.

"By encouraging readers to indulge in both literature and our new chocolate bar, we aim to enhance their self-care routines during the busy fall season."

The partnership with The StoryGraph reflects a growing trend among food and beverage brands to leverage lifestyle collaborations that resonate with consumer interests.
