Mediterranean dairy firm Futura Foods has introduced a new whipped feta dip made with authentic Greek ingredients.

The new Yamas! Whipped Feta contains 45% feta and 55% Greek yogurt. Packaged in a resealable tub, the whipped feta can be “dipped, dolloped and stirred” to elevate various foods, such as salads, pasta and pizza.

Futura Foods says it keeps the authentic flavour profile by using traditional artisan processes and sourcing ingredients from its dairy partners in Greece.

Rhian Kinman, senior marketing manager and Futura Foods, said: “As Mediterranean dairy specialists, Futura Foods is perfectly positioned to spot emerging trends from across Europe, and has seen just how versatile whipped feta can be”.

She continued: “It's already trending on social media with people creating their own from scratch, so by introducing an authentic ready-made version, that doesn't compromise on quality or flavour and can be grabbed straight from the fridge, we are encouraging more people to incorporate this delicious new format into their diet”.

Yamas! Whipped Feta is available in Tesco stores across the UK with an RRP of £2.50 per 150g tub.
