Health-Ade has added two new flavours to its range of kombucha beverages: Orange Creamsicle and Pomegranate Blueberry. Orange Creamsicle is the second of two new seasonal offerings set to launch in 2024, following the success of the brand’s Mango Lemonade flavour, which doubled seasonal sales for Health-Ade last year. Tapping into the trend for nostalgia-evoking flavours within the food and beverage industry, the limited-edition Orange Creamsicle combines the ‘bright and creamy’ flavours of classic childhood frozen desserts with a blend of gut-friendly living probiotics and organic acids. Additionally, Health-Ade said its new Pomegranate Blueberry flavour – a permanent addition to the portfolio – builds on the success of its existing multi-fruit offerings, such as its bestselling Passion Fruit Tangerine flavour. Taking the familiar tart taste of Health-Ade’s popular pomegranate kombucha and adding a ‘burst of blueberry,’ the NPD is said to offer a more ‘complex and satisfying’ flavour profile. The brand revealed that during taste tests, consumers rated Pomegranate Blueberry higher than the original Pomegranate flavour. Health-Ade’s new additions are now available at retailers across the US, including Whole Foods Market, Target and Albertsons.
