US manufacturer of food, beverage and agriculture products, Kent Corporation, has announced the acquisition of Frosty Boy Global. Based in Yatala, Australia, Frosty Boy produces desserts, beverages and savoury ingredients, as well as powder-based wellness products. The acquisition was made through Kent's subsidiary, Kent Precision Foods Group. It specialises in dry and liquid-blending packaging for rigid and flexible packaging, offering branded and custom products to customers in the foodservice (domestic and international), industrial and consumer products sectors. The acquisition will expand Kent's global presence. Frosty Boy operates manufacturing facilities in India and Australia, with sales offices located in Indonesia, Malaysia, India, the Philippines, Australia, Turkey, Brazil, Dubai and Thailand. Mike Eversmeyer, president of Kent Precision Foods Group, said: "We are excited for Kent Precision Foods Group and Frosty Boy to join forces and expand what we each do best while leveraging our synergies. Together, our brands and products help people create meaningful experiences and long-lasting memories." Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
