Proximo Spirits-owned rum brand The Kraken has expanded its portfolio with the launch of Kraken Dark Caramel and Cornish Sea Salt.
The newest flavour provides consumers with a rich infusion of black spiced Caribbean rum, dark caramel and a hint of Cornish sea salt, with notes of toffee and a buttery vanilla finish.
Designed to tap into all seasons, the new rum is crafted to be tempting both in the sun and on a dark winter’s night.
Kraken Dark Caramel and Cornish Sea Salt can be poured over ice or served like traditional rum with a mixer. The brand suggests pouring 50ml of the new rum over 150ml of hot chocolate and topping it with whipped cream for a ‘comforting’ treat.
The latest flavour joins The Kraken's Black Cherry and Madagascan Vanilla variety, which it launched in March last year.
Consumers can find the 40% ABV Kraken Dark Caramel and Cornish Sea Salt flavour at supermarkets across the UK from September, priced at £26 for a 70cl bottle.
