Sandford Orchards has launched its new limited edition Coronation Devon Red Cider, made with British apples grown in orchards surrounding the cider maker. Coronation Devon Red Cider (ABV 4.5%) is a balanced and refreshing medium cider and is described as a celebration of “all things British”. Barny Butterfield, chief cidermaker at Sandford Orchards, commented: “Most of us are too young to remember the last coronation so we are eagerly anticipating some fantastic celebrations across the country. We wanted to mark the occasion with the launch of our Coronation Limited Edition Devon Red Cider, which is created from British apples grown and pressed in Devon, using traditional methods, at the oldest working cider mill in the UK.” The cider will be available from March in 500ml bottles for an RRP of £2.30 from selected retailers and online.
