The company formerly known as Schenck Process Food and Performance Materials (FPM) has officially rebranded to Coperion.
This name change follows Hillenbrand’s acquisition of the FPM group in September 2023, positioning Coperion as a unified brand in the process industry.
Coperion integrates multiple leading brands, including Raymond Bartlett Snow, Stock, Baker Perkins, Kemutec and Mucon, under one umbrella.
This consolidation aims to enhance the company’s offerings across various sectors, including food, health and nutrition, pharmaceuticals, and performance materials such as plastics and chemicals.
“With this transition, we are better equipped to deliver high-quality solutions and services,” said Matthew Craig, general manager of FPM.
Ulrich Bartel, president of Coperion, added: “We are creating a broader and deeper portfolio that meets every process step, solidifying our legacy of proven performance”.
The rebranding process began in May 2023 when the former Schenck Process FPM separated from the Schenck Process Group, which has since rebranded as Qlar. The transition to Coperion includes a new website, with all associated email addresses now updated.
Coperion operates in compounding and extrusion systems, size reduction, material handling and other critical processes. The company employs over 5,000 people across its three divisions – polymer, food, health & nutrition, and aftermarket sales & service – at more than 50 locations worldwide.
