Hormel Foods-owned brand Skippy has partnered with Girl Scouts of America to introduce three new flavours inspired by Girl Scout Cookies under its PB Bites line. The bite-sized snacks – available in coconut caramel, chocolate peanut butter and Adventurefuls – are said to provide an "indulgent taste" reminiscent of dipping Girl Scout Cookies into a creamy Skippy peanut butter jar. The coconut caramel flavour features a "chocolatey" cookie centre enveloped in a smooth Skippy peanut butter coating. It is flavoured with toasted coconut and caramel notes and topped with real toasted coconut flakes. Chocolate peanut butter boasts a vanilla cookie centre wrapped by a coating of Skippy peanut butter and rolled in rich milk chocolate. Meanwhile, the Adventurefuls flavour is inspired by the popular Adventurefuls cookie. It has a "chocolatey" cookie centre encased in a peanut butter coating with hints of caramel and a sprinkle of sea salt and brownie dust. Kelsey Tynan, Skippy senior brand manager, said: "The new Skippy PB Bites offer Girl Scout Cookie fans a new way to enjoy the flavours of their favourite cookies combined with Skippy peanut butter in this delicious bite-size snack. The new Girl Scout will not only deliver a delicious treat to millions of Skippy fans nationwide, but they will also shine a spotlight on this exceptional organisation that powers life-changing experiences for girls." Skippy Girl Scout PB Bites will be available for purchase at retailers nationwide from this month.
