British healthy cake brand Soreen has expanded its portfolio with the launch of its new non-HFSS Sticky Toffee Loaf.
Crafted to tap into increasing consumer preference for permissible indulgence, the brand is hoping the new launch capitalises on demand for healthier snacking.
The new HFSS-compliant Sticky Toffee Loaf has 59% fewer calories per serving, 55% less sugar per 100g and 85% less fat per 100g than a traditional sticky toffee pudding and aligns with Soreen’s mission of promoting feel-good nutrition, by providing a non-HFSS option for sweet-toothed consumers seeking guilt-free indulgence.
Liz Jacobs, marketing director at Soreen, said: “Our mission is to offer consumers tasty, healthier snacks and we’re committed to bringing exciting NPD to the category to offer shoppers greater choice. We’re confident the Sticky Toffee Loaf will not only be a hit as a delicious sweet treat to snack on, but also as a versatile, lighter pudding alternative which can be enjoyed warm with ice cream or custard.”
The latest launch joins the brand’s Lift Bars, launched last year, which contain naturally occurring B12, proven to reduce tiredness and fatigue and malt – a natural source of energy, along with a mix of fibre, potassium, folate and vitamin B.
The new Sticky Toffee Loaf is available to purchase now in major UK retailers for an RRP of £1.50.
