Under its Strongbow brand, Heineken UK has added a new flavour to its range of ciders, Strongbow Tropical Cider. The new tropical flavour is a blend of mango and pineapple and provides a refreshing and fruity twist on the brand’s classic cider. Heineken UK cider brand director, Rachel Holms, said: “The launch of Strongbow Tropical Cider will further encourage new drinkers into the cider category, providing experimental consumers with an exciting new flavour to try whatever the occasion”. The new beverage contains no artificial flavours, sweeteners or colours and is 4% ABV. In addition to its latest launch, the Strongbow brand has been given a complete makeover, swapping its black and gold colour palette for the first time since it was created in 1960. The new bold and colourful design is set to attract a new generation of consumers and was created with in-store findability and shelf standout in mind. Holms commented: “This is a huge milestone in the 63 years of Strongbow. It’s a new design that not only resonates and engages our loyal consumer base, but something that also appeals to new cider and Strongbow drinkers, and the start of a new chapter for us.” Strongbow Tropical Cider is available in retailers nationwide.
